The
DockChauffeur has so many interesting features that it's hard to find
enough room anywhere to write it all down. Well, here is the lowdown
on the specifications and features of the DockChauffeur.
- Cruise your dock at 300
feet per minute- Heavy
duty switches control forward/reverse and high/low
speeds for acceleration of the vehicle.
- DockChauffeur Bench- Durable and weatherproof. The left seat lifts
to convert into a cargo area for
transporting items. Removable panels allow quick access to batteries,
tires and other serviceable
components. The DockChauffeur frame is constructed from steel and
finished with a durable powder-coat.
- Standard AM/FM Radio with
CD player- Mounted in a weatherproof case. The stereo receives
power from the accessories battery.
- Beautiful lighting system- Super bright LED lights illuminate
the control panel during night
operation and also light up the dock for visibility. These lights
receive power from the accessories battery.
- Ignition Key / Emergency
Stop- Removable red key that disables
all power to the drive motor.
The DockChauffeur vehicle cannot run without the key inserted and
turned to the ‘on’ position. The stereo
and lights will still function when the ignition key is in the ‘off’ position.
- Non-Marking Tires- Long lasting tires that minimize tire marks
on the dock surface.
- Marine batteries- Two batteries located on each side of the
control panel supply power to the drive
motor/braking system. These batteries are charged through the
onboard charging system.
Over 15 miles of run time on a single charge.
- Separate Accessories
Battery- Provides power to the running lights, stereo, control
panel
illumination lights and auxiliary power outlet. This battery
is charged through the onboard charging system.
- Auxiliary power outlet- Supplies 12 volts
DC to external devices such as portable TV’s, laptop
computers and handheld spotlights. Power is received from the
accessories battery.
- Battery Charging System- Electrical plug-in supplies power
to the onboard battery charger which
charges the two drive motor batteries and accessories battery.

Two 30 amp breakers protect the DC electrical systems.

1. DockChauffeur Bench - Durable

2. Vehicle Tires - Easy to change long-lasting tires that minimize
tire marks on the surface of a dock.

3. Forward / Reverse Controls -
Heavy Duty switches for acceleration of the vehicle. The switches
control forward or reverse and low or high
speed. The momentary switches are weatherproof and durable for reliable
duty.

4. Marine Batteries -
Two batteries located on each side of the control panel supply power
to the drive motor/braking system. These batteries are charged through
the onboard charging system.

5. Gel-Cap Accessories Battery – Provides
power to the running lights, stereo, control panel illumination
lights and auxiliary power jack. This battery is charged through
the onboard charging system.

6. Resetting Circuit Breakers - Two 30 amp breakers protect the
12/24volt electrical system.

7. Fused Power Switches - Switches
power on and off to the following accessories:

- FM/AM CD Player Stereo
Note: It is important to turn this off when not in use to avoid

8. Super Bright LED
Lights - Illuminate the control panel during
night operation. These lights receive power from the accessories
battery.

9. Auxiliary Power Outlet -
Supplies 12 volts DC to external devices such
as portable TV’s. Power is received from the gel -cap accessories
battery.

10. Standard CD/AM/FM Stereo - mounted in a weatherproof case. The
stereo receives power from the accessories battery.

11. Ignition Key / Emergency
Stop - Removable
key (red) that disables all power to the drive motor. The DockChauffeur
vehicle cannot run without the key inserted and turned to the ‘on’ position.
The stereo and lights will still function when the ignition key
is in the 'off' position.

12. Battery Charger Power
Connector – Electrical
plug-in connector
which supplies power to the onboard battery charger. The two drive
motor batteries and the accessories battery charge through this
connector.

13. Running Lights – Adds
illumination for safety during night
operation. There is one located on each side of the DockChauffeur.

14. Limit Switches – Part of the drive
motor / braking system; these two switches activate when they are
triggered in succession by mechanical stops along the track. The
first switch will decelerate the DockChauffeur to low speed and the
second switch will trigger the braking system. Depending on the
direction of travel indicates which switch is first or second.

15. Track Glide Mechanism – Securely
mounts the vehicle to the track which is mounted to the dock. Smooth
glide bearing system.
